Most of the web runs on watching people. We do not. There are no advertising trackers, no social pixels, and no third-party analytics that follow you after you leave. What we hold, we hold only to teach you — and we tell you exactly what that is below. أكثرُ الشبكة يعمل على مراقبة الناس. ونحن لا. لا متعقّبات إعلان، ولا بكسلات تواصل، ولا تحليلاتِ طرفٍ ثالثٍ تتبعك بعد مغادرتك. وما نحفظه، نحفظه لنُعلّمك فقط — ونُخبرك بالضبط ما هو أدناه.

To sign you in, send class reminders, and issue your completion records. That is all. لندخلك إلى حسابك، ولنرسل تذكيرات الصفوف، ولنصدر سجلّات إتمامك. لا غير.

The question you send us السؤال الذي ترسله إلينا

Held in confidence and routed to the scholars who answer it. What may happen to it afterward is set out below, under “The question you ask us.” يُحفَظ في سرّيّة، ويوجَّه إلى العلماء الذين يجيبون عنه. وما قد يجري له بعد ذلك مبيَّنٌ أدناه تحت «السؤال الذي تسألنا إيّاه».

Your progress in your studies تقدّمُك في دراستك

Your place in a lesson, so you can return to it. Your notes, which are private to you — no one, not even the scholar, sees them unless you choose to share. Your enrolment and grades, which live in the classroom system described below. موضعُك في الدرس لتعود إليه. وملاحظاتُك، وهي خاصّةٌ بك — لا يراها أحد، ولا الشيخ، إلّا أن تختار المشاركة. وتسجيلُك ودرجاتُك، ومكانُها نظامُ التعلّم المبيَّن أدناه.

Your donation record سجلُّ تبرّعك

When you give, the payment goes to Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your name, the amount, and a receipt record. We count pages viewed, the country a visit came from, and the page that referred it — as totals from the first moment, with no cookie and no identifier. We see that an answer was read ten thousand times; we never see who the ten thousand are. نعدّ الصفحات المقروءة، والبلد الذي جاءت منه الزيارة، والصفحة التي أحالت إلينا — أعدادًا مجمَلةً من أوّل لحظة، بلا ملفّ تعريفٍ ولا مُعرِّف. نرى أنّ جوابًا قُرئ عشرة آلاف مرّة؛ ولا نرى أبدًا من هم العشرة آلاف.

What we never do. ما لا نفعله أبدًا.

• We never sell your data. لا نبيع بياناتك أبدًا.

  Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to “partners.” There is no commercial use of your information, ever. لا لمُعلنين، ولا لوسطاء بيانات، ولا «شركاء». ولا استعمالَ تجاريًّا لمعلوماتك، البتّة.

• We never track you off-site. لا نتعقّبك خارج الموقع.

  No ad pixels, no retargeting, no “people who studied this also bought.” لا بكسلات إعلان، ولا إعادةَ استهداف، ولا «من درس هذا اشترى أيضًا».

• We never build a profile of you. لا نبني عنك ملفًّا أبدًا.

  What you read here stays between you and the page. We do not assemble your visits, your questions, or your studies into a portrait of you — for ourselves or for anyone else. ما تقرؤه هنا يبقى بينك وبين الصفحة. لا نجمع زياراتِك وأسئلتَك ودروسَك في صورةٍ عنك — لا لأنفسنا ولا لغيرنا.

The question you ask us. السؤال الذي تسألنا إيّاه.

A question sent in confidence is a trust (amana), and we treat it as one. Some questions help thousands beyond the one who asked, so an answer may be published on our Answers page — anonymized. السؤال المُرسَل في سرّيّةٍ أمانة، ونعامله معاملةَ الأمانة. وبعضُ الأسئلة ينفع آلافًا غيرَ سائله، فقد يُنشر الجواب في صفحة الأجوبة — مجهَّلَ الهويّة.

Before anything is published, we remove your name and email, and we strip or reword every detail that could point back to you: places, ages, occupations, family particulars. The question that appears is the question, not the questioner. قبل أيّ نشرٍ نحذف اسمَك وبريدَك، ونحذف أو نعيد صياغة كلِّ تفصيلٍ قد يدلّ عليك: الأماكن، والأعمار، والمهن، وأحوال الأسرة. فالذي يظهر هو السؤال، لا السائل.

If you would rather your question never be published, even anonymized, tell us: tick the box on the form when you ask, or write to privacy@seekersguidance.org at any time. It will be answered privately, or not published at all. Questions asked privately inside a course are never published. وإن أحببتَ ألّا يُنشر سؤالك أبدًا، ولو مجهَّلًا، فأخبرنا: علِّم على الخانة في النموذج حين تسأل، أو اكتب إلينا في أيّ وقت على privacy@seekersguidance.org. فيُجاب سرًّا، أو لا يُنشر أصلًا. والأسئلة المطروحة سرًّا داخل الدورات لا تُنشر أبدًا.

We use a small number of services to keep a global seminary running. Each is named here, each holds only what its task requires, and none may use your data for anything else. نستعين بعددٍ قليلٍ من الخدمات لتسيير معهدٍ عالميّ. نسمّيها هنا واحدةً واحدة، ولا يحمل كلٌّ منها إلّا ما تقتضيه مهمّته، ولا يجوز لأيٍّ منها استعمال بياناتك في غير ذلك.

WP Engine runs the servers this site lives on; Cloudflare shields it from attack and delivers it quickly around the world. Our own learning system, at academy.seekersguidance.org, holds your enrolment, grades, and forum posts. We run it ourselves, under this same policy and the same account. نظامُ تعلّمنا الخاصّ، على academy.seekersguidance.org، يحفظ تسجيلَك ودرجاتِك ومشاركاتِك في المنتديات. نديره بأنفسنا، تحت هذه السياسة نفسِها والحساب نفسِه.

Forms — Gravity Forms النماذج — Gravity Forms

The forms you fill — to ask a question, register, or volunteer — run on our own servers, and what you write in them goes only to the team that handles it. النماذج التي تملؤها — لتسأل أو تسجّل أو تتطوّع — تعمل على خوادمنا نحن، وما تكتبه فيها لا يذهب إلّا إلى الفريق الذي يتولّاه.

Prayer times — the Aladhan service مواقيت الصلاة — خدمة Aladhan

When the site shows prayer times, it asks a public service for the times of a city. The request carries the city’s name, never yours — no account, no personal data. حين يعرض الموقع مواقيت الصلاة، يسأل خدمةً عامّةً عن مواقيت مدينة. يحمل الطلبُ اسمَ المدينة، لا اسمَك — لا حساب، ولا بيانات شخصيّة.

One account, including the classroom. حسابٌ واحد، والفصل الدراسيّ معه.

When you study with us, your enrolment, your grades, and anything you post in a course forum live in our learning system — the classroom behind this site. It is the same account, under this same policy, and when you delete your account, the classroom record is deleted with it. حين تدرس معنا، يعيش تسجيلُك ودرجاتُك وما تكتبه في منتدى الدورة في نظام التعلّم — الفصلِ الدراسيّ خلف هذا الموقع. هو الحسابُ نفسُه، تحت هذه السياسة نفسِها، وحين تحذف حسابك يُحذف سجلُّ الفصل معه.

Children and young seekers. الأطفال وصغار الطلّاب.

Some of our programs are written for young people, and a youth privacy notice accompanies them. We require a parent or guardian’s consent before anyone under the age of consent in their country enrolls. We are building a verified parental-consent step into youth sign-up, and youth enrolment will not open before it is in place. بعضُ برامجنا مكتوبٌ لليافعين، ويصحبها بيانُ خصوصيّةٍ خاصٌّ بهم. ونشترط موافقةَ وليّ الأمر قبل تسجيل من هو دون سنّ الموافقة القانونيّة في بلده. ونبني الآن خطوةَ موافقةٍ موثَّقةً لوليّ الأمر في التسجيل، ولن يُفتح تسجيلُ اليافعين قبل اكتمالها.

How long we keep things. كم نحتفظ بالأشياء.

While your account is open, we keep what serves your study. When you delete your account, deletion reaches every system we run: the account itself, the classroom record, and your address on the email list. We complete it within thirty days. Deletion is real and permanent; we do not keep a shadow copy. ما دام حسابك مفتوحًا، نحفظ ما يخدم دراستك. وحين تحذف حسابك، يبلغ الحذفُ كلَّ نظامٍ نديره: الحسابَ نفسَه، وسجلَّ الفصل الدراسيّ، وعنوانَك في قائمة البريد. ونتمّه في غضون ثلاثين يومًا. والحذفُ حقيقيٌّ ودائم؛ لا نحتفظ بنسخةٍ خفيّة.

Two exceptions, both narrow. Donation records are kept for seven years, because charity law requires it of us as a registered charity. And an answer already published — anonymized, carrying nothing that identifies you — remains published, because it no longer contains you. استثناءان، كلاهما ضيّق. سجلّاتُ التبرّع تُحفظ سبعَ سنين، لأنّ قانون الجمعيّات الخيريّة يلزمنا بذلك بوصفنا جمعيّةً مسجَّلة. والجوابُ المنشور — مجهَّلًا، لا يحمل ما يدلّ عليك — يبقى منشورًا، لأنّه لم يعد يحملك.

Your rights. حقوقك.

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete your account entirely — from your account settings in one step, with no “are you sure” maze, or by writing to privacy@seekersguidance.org. We answer within thirty days. تستطيع طلبَ نسخةٍ من كلّ ما نحفظه عنك، أو تصحيحَه، أو تصديرَه، أو حذفَ حسابك كلِّيًّا — من إعدادات حسابك بخطوةٍ واحدة، بلا متاهة «هل أنت متأكّد»، أو بالكتابة إلى privacy@seekersguidance.org. ونجيب في غضون ثلاثين يومًا.

When this policy changes. حين تتغيّر هذه السياسة.

We will post any change here and date it. If a change matters — if it touches what we collect or who helps us — we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect, in plain words. ننشر كلَّ تغييرٍ هنا ونؤرّخه. وإن كان التغيير ذا بالٍ — إن مسَّ ما نجمعه أو من يعيننا — أخبرنا أصحابَ الحسابات بالبريد قبل سريانه، بكلامٍ سهل.
