The academy’s mission is to make the Islamic tradition freely available to every seeker — in the Prophetic model. That mission depends entirely on patrons. For a thousand years, the Islamic tradition has been carried by scholars who spent decades preparing to teach a single book. That tradition is fragile right now. ألفَ سنةٍ حمل التراثَ الإسلاميَّ علماءُ أمضوا عقودًا في الإعداد لتدريس كتابٍ واحد. وذلك التراثُ هشٌّ في هذه اللحظة.
Qualified teachers cannot afford to spend their lives in the classroom when the classroom doesn’t pay. The pressure forces many into outside work — and the depth of their teaching suffers, or they leave the work entirely. لا يستطيع المعلّمون الأكفاء أن يُفنوا أعمارهم في الفصل والفصلُ لا يُطعِم. فيدفعهم الضيقُ إلى عملٍ خارجيّ — فيضعف عمقُ تعليمهم، أو يتركون العمل كلَّه.
The academy’s answer is to make the work, the work. To pay scholars to teach, to write, to answer questions, to translate primary texts. A faculty working full-time, for the quarter-million seekers who could not otherwise reach them. وجوابُ المعهد أن يجعل العملَ هو العمل. أن يُؤجَر العلماءُ على التعليم والكتابة والإجابة وترجمة المتون الأصليّة. هيئةٌ علميّةٌ متفرّغة، لربع مليون طالبٍ ما كانوا ليصلوا إليهم لولا ذلك.
There is no tuition, no premium tier, no advertising. The arithmetic only works because patrons cover the salaries directly. لا رسوم، ولا مستوياتٍ مميّزة، ولا إعلانات؛ ولا تستقيم الحسبةُ إلّا لأنّ المُحسنين يُغطّون الرواتب مباشرة.

Every gift goes toward the work of the faculty federation — forty scholars whose teaching, writing, and answering the academy makes possible. We publish what the faculty did, not what individual scholars are paid. The work is the receipt. This term — teaching The Fiqh of Worship and Theology II. Answered 247 questions in the last quarter. Author of fourteen books, four currently in classroom use. هذا الفصل — يُدرّس فقه العبادات والعقيدة ٢. أجاب ٢٤٧ سؤالًا في الربع الماضي. ألّف أربعة عشر كتابًا، أربعةٌ منها قيد الاستعمال في الفصول.
This term — teaching Family Life in Islam and Women’s Spirituality. Has personally taught more than 12,000 seekers across her time with the academy. هذا الفصل — تُدرّس الحياة الأسريّة في الإسلام وروحانيّة المرأة. علّمت بنفسها أكثر من ١٢٬٠٠٠ طالبٍ خلال مدّتها في المعهد.
This term — teaching Advanced Hadith Studies and translating one classical primary text into English. Two in-person intensives this year. هذا الفصل — يُدرّس علوم الحديث المتقدّمة ويُترجم متنًا كلاسيكيًّا أصليًّا إلى الإنجليزيّة. ودورتان حضوريّتان مكثّفتان هذا العام.
The patron roles أدوار المُحسنين
$300 a year. Sustains one seeker through a full term of study. Most patrons begin here. ٣٠٠ دولارٍ في السنة. يُعين طالبًا واحدًا في فصلٍ كامل. وأكثرُ المُحسنين يبدؤون هنا.
$1,200 a year. Sustains one month of the faculty’s teaching, writing, and answering — across the whole federation. ١٬٢٠٠ دولارٍ في السنة. يُعين شهرًا من تعليم العلماء وكتابتهم وإجابتهم — عبر الاتّحاد كلّه.
$3,000 a year. Keeps one course free for an entire term — for every seeker in it. ٣٬٠٠٠ دولارٍ في السنة. يُبقي دورةً مجّانيّةً فصلًا كاملًا — لكلّ طالبٍ فيها.
$12,000 a year. Sustains a year of the academy’s teaching work — the chain of transmission itself. ١٢٬٠٠٠ دولارٍ في السنة. يُعين سنةً من عمل المعهد التعليميّ — سلسلةَ الإسناد نفسها.
